This weekend, explore the weather phenomena that rule our planet this Friday, April 26 at an exclusive members’ event at HMNS Sugar Land.
Learn all about the forces behind the weather with the Zula Patrol, an intergalactic band of fact-gatherers. Children’s crafts, refreshments and a cash bar for the chaperones will be available from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Join the intergalactic fact gatherers of Zula Patrol and explore concepts like clouds, precipitation, wind and temperature.
Each patron will receive a playing card and a passport at check-in, inviting them to visit the different areas of “Weather Land” and receive passport credits as they explore different topics.
Once you’ve visited Tornado Alley, Thunder Quarry, Hurricane Cave, Sunny Meadows, The Rain Forest and Blizzard Mountain, you can exchange your full passport for a prize!
Each weather station will have related crafts and activities, and patrons will also enjoy snacks and a special screening of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

They will after a visit to HMNS Sugar Land’s latest exhibit, Zula Patrol: Mission Weather, which teaches kids aged from pre-kindergarten to the third grade and beyond all about Earth’s weather systems with hands-on, interactive activities.
Starting this Friday, this band of intergalactic fact-gatherers (as they’re called) will teach visitors about weather phenomena like clouds, precipitation, wind and temperature.
Based on the popular educational television program of the same name, the Zula Patrol museum exhibition aims to promote an understanding of and an interest in science and astronomy with character-driven storytelling.
