Leslie’s love for special events started at the age of 9 after taking on the challenge of planning her mom’s birthday party. After planning events for friends and throughout college at Dillard University, she found herself at HMNS in 2005. Leslie was the Assistant Director of Special Events, she has had an opportunity to work on some of Houston’s top events and exhibit openings. The part she most enjoys about event planning is taking a vision and seeing it come to life. “Planning an event is like writing a story,” says Leslie. “Every piece has to make sense.”
