Due to Hurricane Ike, the Houston Museum of Natural Science will be closed to the public on Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13.

The museum will resume regular business hours Sunday, September 14, if weather conditions permit. For updates, log on to www.hmns.org or call (713) 639-4629.

Regular posting on the blog will also be suspended, probably until Monday – unless further closures or other urgent Museum-related news need to be announced.

For the latest information on Hurricane Ike, visit the Harris County Office of Emergency Management online. Stay safe.
